Navajo Matriarch
Navajo females hold a lot of strength. Usually this strength is shown in many ways, but one in particular is giving birth. Before hospitals, Navajo women held on to a sash belt while giving birth to hold themselves upright and to grab on to something that wouldn't falter. A sash belt is worn around the female's abdomen to provide healing and to give good posture and body structure.
